Glenn Harry Martens, age 84, of West Chester, passed away peacefully Monday, February 25, 2019 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, Ohio. He was born Friday, March 2, 1934 in Iowa. He was baptized in 1934 in Sloan, Iowa and confirmed in 1948 at Zion-Denison Lutheran Church.

For many years, Glenn was in retail sales. He was an active member of King of Kings Lutheran Church. Born with a green thumb, Glenn enjoyed gardening.

Glenn was preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Rose (Hansen) Martens and wife, Nona Faye (nee Stockfleth) Martens.

Glenn is survived by: son, Darnell (Linda) Martens; grandson, Keith (Grace) Singleton; and brother-in-law, Merlin Stockfleth.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at 10:15 am until the memorial service at 11:00 am at King of Kings Lutheran Church, 3621 Socialville-Foster Rd., Mason, OH 45040. Memorials may be made to King of Kings at the above address, memo line Glenn Martens memorial.
