Betty Lee Hutzel

Betty Lee (nee Snider) Hutzel , 94 years old, died peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash on January 2, 2019.  She was born November 14, 1924 in Maineville, Ohio.

Betty was preceded in death by: her beloved husband of 62 years, James A. Hutzel; parents, Ernest Snider and Flora Lelah (nee Dryden) Snider; sisters, Dorothy and Olive; brothers, Ernest and Donald; her grandson, Captain Warren Andrew Frank; and great-grandson, Jameson Hutzel.

Betty is survived by: 3 children, James Gregory (Linda) Hutzel. Rebecca L. (nee Hutzel) Frank and Gerald Raymond (Rose) Hutzel; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Betty graduated from Bethesda School of Nursing in 1946 under the Navy Corps Nursing Program and became an industrial nurse at General Electric in Evendale, Ohio for 32 years after which she retired and spent 27 years in retirement with her husband at Riverwoods Plantation in Estero, Florida 6 months every year.  They enjoyed many beautiful and happy years together with their friends and family, traveling, hobbies and fully enjoying all of life.

She lived in Maineville, Ohio her entire 94 years and was a member of the Maineville Garden Club for many years and enjoyed excellent health and activities for many years.

There will not be any services at this time, and a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held in the early Spring for family and friends to celebrate her beautiful life.

She will be inurned next to her husband in Hopkinsville Cemetery where 5 generations of her Snider family are buried.
