E. Dean Cox, of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully on his birthday 86 years later, Friday, December 28, 2018. Dean was born in Boulder, IL to Cecil and Lydia Cox in 1932. He is the beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Campbell) for 63 years. Devoted father of Brian (Gail) Cox and Bruce (Christine) Cox, loving grandpa of Timothy (Angie) Cox, Amy (Sean) Faller, Jillane (Mark) Holland and Shannon Cox, great-grandpa of Kylie Faller, Evan Faller, Jackson Holland, Mary Cox, Liberty Holland and Catherine Cox, dear brother of the late Mary Cox Butler Karmenzind, uncle of Debbie Smith and Danny Butler.
Dean was a true family man. He loved his wife, and family deeply. He always enjoyed working around the house, in the garden and growing flowers. Church was a very important part of his life. He went on mission trips and served the church for many years. He and his wife liked to travel and did so when they could. Dean worked in regional management for Sears Department Stores for over 40 years.
Visitation at the West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Road, West Chester, OH 45069 on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM. Interment at West Chester Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Chester Church of the Nazarene for Missions (Work and Witness).
