Michael Dean Smith

Michael 'Dean' Smith, resident of West Chester Township, OH, died unexpectedly on December 10, 2018 at the age of 62.

Preceded in death by his parents Marsh Smith and Norma Starkey and his brothers Buck and Benny Smith.

Dean leaves behind his stepfather, Walter Starkey and two sisters, Marsha Gordon and Angela Hagenschneider.  One stepbrother, Charlie Starkey and a stepsister, Carol Hakola and three beloved nephews, Gabe Gordon, Ben Smith and Kyle Smith.

Dean was devoted to his dog, Smokey, the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals.  He loved basketball and excelled in high school basketball.  He enjoyed any competitive activities such as bowling, horseshoes, and games.

Family and friends will be received Friday, December 14, 2018 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Matt Liddick officiating at the Funeral Home.
