Harvey Cleveland Bream Jr.
Harvey Cleveland Bream Jr., 95,
faithfully completed his lifetime of service to the Lord and went home on December 1st 2018.
A devoted husband and father, brilliant preacher/teacher, and faithful disciple of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, he tirelessly worked for 77 years to spread the Gospel, leading thousands to the Lord. He, along with his beloved wife of 69 years, the late Mary Ann, raised up four children to become deeply rooted in the faith: the late Deborah Fenner, Christine (Rich) Lambert, Harvey III (Lisa), and Scott (Terri).
In addition, he is also survived by his grandchildren Joel (Diane) Fenner, Brian (Julie) Fenner, Joanna (Matt) Schaefer, Jacob (Regan) Bream, Kayla Bream and Jenna Bream; great-grandchildren Obadiah and Lincoln Fenner, Elizabeth Fenner, Hudson Schaefer and Annabelle Bream; brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Betty Copeland and Robert and Janet Work, and many nieces and nephews. His siblings, Mary, Ruth, and Gene are already in heaven with their parents, Harvey Sr. and Maude Bream. What a reunion they must be having!
A humble man of God, Harvey was an inspiring teacher, preacher, evangelist, song leader, writer, editor, president, chancellor, and trustee. He served in over 76 weeks of Christian Service Camp, held over 452 weeks of revival meetings, established three new churches and assisted in the establishment of seven others. He spoke at numerous conventions, faith-promise rallies, seminars, retreats, youth rallies, men’s meetings, Lectureships (Restoration, Church Leadership, and Evangelism), taught courses on Personal Evangelism at CCU for 22 years, and served for 67 years as trustee for The Christian Restoration Association.
At the time of his passing, he was the Teaching Minister at Bright Christian Church, teaching every Sunday and preaching several times a year. Harvey was looking forward to recording one last sermon this coming Thursday at the CRA.
