Matthew Neal Brackman

Matthew Neal Brackman,
age 21, of Mason, Ohio, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018.  He was born Saturday, March 15, 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Neal J. and Lynne D. (nee Pagenkopf) Brackman.

A graduate of Mason High School, Matthew enjoyed playing baseball where he was most often on the pitcher's mound.  He also liked to play table tennis, chess and snowboard.  Matthew could often be found playing his computer or video games.  A natural artist with an ear for music, he played the piano and guitar.  He had the ability to play a song without any sheet music after listening to it.

Working at Millennium Metals was more than just a job for Matthew.  He found his job to be fulfilling and rewarding, creating friendships with co-workers.  Friendships that Matthew cherished feeling as though his friends were more like family.  He might have missed his calling though.........perhaps he should have been a Weather Man.  Learning about weather patterns, following storms and teaching those around him that would listen brought a sense of satisfaction that was almost visible.

With a huge heart, Matthew had a passion for helping children in other countries, especially Africa. Matthew was in the process of adopting a young child in Africa in hopes of providing food, love and perhaps a smile.

Matthew was preceded in death by: paternal grandmother, Thelma (nee Rose) Brackman; maternal grandparents, Robert and Janice (nee Gerber) Pagenkopf.

Matthew is survived by: his parents, Neal J. and Lynne D. (nee Pagenkopf) Brackman; sister, Courtney M. Brackman; aunts and uncles, Lisa (Joe) Wissman, Cheryl (Greg) Gudorf, Gary (Rosemany) Brackman, Dale Brackman, Mike Brackman, Craig Brackman, Doug (Carol) Brackman, Kevin (Leslie) Brackman and Trina (Kevin) Bruening; many cousins and loving family members; and his best-friend and furry-companion, Larry.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Hope Church, 4934 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
