Judith Ann "Judy" Jackson
(nee Olson),
age 78, of Lebanon, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018 at West Chester Hospital.  She was born Monday, July 29, 1940 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to John and Lillian (nee Larson) Olson.

A strong and independent woman, Judy was a great friend to many.  Her award winning smile drew the attention of those around her giving her ample opportunity to converse with anyone she met.  Loving the outdoors, she enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds.  An avid reader, Judy just finished the "Sisterhood Series" by Fern Michaels and also had many books by Danielle Steel.

Being a wife, mother and grandmother brought Judy immense amount of pride.  Judy and the love of her life would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in February.  A talented seamstress, she created the children's clothing, being resourceful Judy often lengthened the pants and let the seams out so that the clothes lasted longer.  Among her masterpieces are the Senior Prom Dress and Wedding Gown she fashioned for her daughter.

Always looking for ways to make recipe's better, Judy had fun trying new seasonings and putting a different spin on an old dish.  Everything she made, was the best you have ever had.  Her lasagna and oyster stew will never be the same without her touch.

Judy was a 15 year survivor of breast cancer.  A firm supporter of others faced with such a life challenge, she participated in many walks.  Making sure others knew they were not in the fight alone motivated Judy.  Raising over $120,000.00 for Susan G. Komen, Judy was most recently supporting Mary Jo's Angels.

Judy was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Lillian Olson; and brothers, Dean Olson and Leroy Olson.

Judy is survived by: her loving husband, Cletis M. Jackson; son, Barry Jackson; daughter, Teresa (Scott) Stang; grandchildren, Jacob Stang and Jessica Stang; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Barry Nehls officiating at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
