Born and raised in Hagertown, MD, Rodney was a graduate of the University of Maryland and received his MBA from Xavier University of Cincinnati. After a 30 year career at AK Steel he retired and relocated to Vero Beach, FL where he started a new career in real estate. When his health declined, he and June moved to Christian Village of Mason, where they would be closer to family.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by: his loving wife of almost 60 years, June (nee Arnold) Holland; daughter, Anne (Martin) Bruce; grandchildren, Emily Bruce and Caroline Bruce; sister-in-law, Joy Prendergast; brother-in-law, Tom Arnold; nephews, Neal Prendergast M.D., Patrick Prendergast and Gerry Prendergast; and other loving family members and friends.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Christian Village at Mason Chapel, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, Ohio 45040, with Chaplain Tom Moll officiating.
