Jennifer Nicole Dutton

February 7, 1995 — October 7, 2018

Jennifer Dutton, 23, of Tucson, AZ, died on Sunday, October 7, 2018.  Jennifer was suddenly afflicted with a rare auto-immune disorder, HLH. Despite the extraordinary efforts of the staff at Cincinnati's Children's Hospital, Jennifer passed away surrounded by her parents.

Born in Carrollton, TX, Jennifer spent her formative years in Tucson.  She was a 2013 graduate of Tucson's University High School where she excelled in academics, dance and soccer. Jennifer was an NCAA athlete and the captain of the Women's Rowing Team at University of California, San Diego from which she graduated in 2017.  Besides her leadership role in women's crew, Jennifer was the senior Resident Assistant coordinator and an Orientation Ambassador. While engaged in the pre-med program, she encountered the contributions and dedication of pediatric physical therapists and devoted herself to achieving that certification.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Suzanne and Chris McNamara of Tucson, Jon Dutton of Dallas, and four brothers.  Her circle of admiring family and friends is immense. She served as a role model for nieces, nephews, cousins, crew teammates, fellow students and professional colleagues.  Her life was productive, fun-filled, active and inspiring.

Jennifer's life will be celebrated by family and close friends at a private event in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, Jennifer's family requests people consider donations in Jennifer's name be made to the Dragonfly Foundation ( www.dragonfly.org ), an organization that supports families of patients fighting blood disorder conditions.
