Henry "Miller" Roberts

Henry "Miller" Roberts , age 85, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home Wednesday, October 10, 2018.  He was born Thursday, January 26, 1933 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to Willis and Myrtle (nee Haley) Roberts.

While attending church one day in the Spring of 1954, Miller met a young lady by the name of Anna Mae Jones.  Three months later, the two were married on Friday, August 6, 1954.  Together, Miller and Anna would raise three daughters, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Miller had a passion for the outdoors.  Fishing always brought a smile from ear to ear while camping provided for many memories to be cherished.  Miller and Anna loved to travel enjoying multiple trips to Florida and Gatlinburg and even made the trip out West twice.

University of Kentucky Basketball always brought excitement into the Roberts household.  If the game was on, you could find Miller coaching the team from the comfort of his chair.  You can take the boy out of Kentucky, but you can't take the Kentucky out of the boy.

Miller was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Myrtle Roberts and his siblings.

Miller is survived by: his wife, Anna Mae (nee Jones) Roberts; children, Roxanne (Michael) Sampson, Tina Haley and Ginger (Jeffrey) Roy; grandchildren, Sara (Cain Blanchard) Baker, Lauren (Scott) Davis, Danielle Sampson, George Sampson, Melanie (Kevin) Davis, Logan (Katie) Godbey, Tyler (Trina) Godbey, Brooke (Matthew) Piguet, John (Morgan) Boggess and Nathan Carter; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Monday, October 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Julie Alsip officiating at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be in West Chester Cemetery.
