John I. Wolfe

Johnnie Wolfe, age 86, of Liberty Township, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in the comfort of his home.  He was born Tuesday, August 9, 1932 in Augusta, Kentucky to Irvin and Helen (nee Weimer) Wolfe.

A University of Kentucky fan, Johnnie claimed to bleed blue.  His office at home was covered in UK memorabilia.  Whatever he couldn't find for purchase at the store, he created on his own.

Johnnie was blessed with the touch of an artist, the penmanship of a writer and a fantastic sense of humor.  Working in the Greeting Card business for many years, he created masterpieces that have generated many laughs.  He never lost the ability to look at the funny side of life.

Music was not only a hobby, but a way of life for Johnnie.  His band, "White Lightening Express", was well known in the Cincinnati area.  Johnnie and his wife also performed in Florida covering most cities from Tampa to Naples as the "Carol and Johnnie Duo".

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Helen Wolfe.

Johnnie is survived by: his loving wife of 32 years, Carol (nee Mitchell) Wolfe; children, Andra (Charles Schnel) Crisafi, Christopher Crisafi and Brandon Crisafi; grandchildren, Destiny Crisafi, Austin Crisafi, Conner Crisafi, Hayden Crisafi and Reagan Crisafi; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040.
