Patricia Ann Mccamey

Patricia Ann McCamey (nee Graham), 88, formerly of Albuquerque, NM, passed away in West Chester, OH on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Pat was born in Fort Wayne, IN in 1930 to Fay Allen and Esther Mae Graham. In 1946, the Graham family moved to Albuquerque.

Pat is the beloved wife of the late Nelson McCamey, devoted mother of David (Susan) McCamey and Linda (Ken) Allen, loving grandmother of Lisa (Joshua) Kaufer and Caitlin (Kevin) Mullins and great-grandmother of Zoe, Wyatt and Riley Kaufer and Luella and Quinn Mullins, dear sister of Cynthia Norman and aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Life for Pat was all about family and friends. She found that love, joy and fun were some of the key elements of having a great life. She was very patriotic and made sure to fly her flag everyday.  She involved herself in holidays and many activities so she could nurture her family and be with her many close friends. Pat volunteered at MacArthur Elementary School and was a part of the PTA. She enjoyed being artistic and participated in a bowling league for many years.  She worked as a Special Education Assistant at Los Ranchos Elementary School in the North Valley of Albuquerque, where the students and staff adored her cheerful  presence and playful personality. She loved New Mexico, the clear blue skies, purple mountains and hot air balloons flying over her home.  She loved her many four legged friends (cats Pooh and Baby) but especially Freckles, our family dog, who loved her back very much.
