Jimmie Lee Watson

Jimmie L. Watson, age 69, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Friday, July 20, 2018 at Bethesda North Hospital.  He was born Saturday, January 29, 1949 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to William Jennings and Pauline (nee Johnson) Watson.

Jimmie was a welder by trade.  An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and turtle hunting.  If you knew Jimmie, you know one of his best traits was his ability to argue!  He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Jimmie was preceded in death by: his parents, William and Pauline Watson; a sister, Joyce Brown; and twin grandsons Michael Jennings and Matthew James Watson.

Jimmie is survived by: his wife of almost 50 years, Betty (nee Crist) Watson; son, Jeff (Kimberly) Watson; daughter, Vicki (Wayne) Albertson; grandchildren, Austin Watson, Madison Watson, Katie (Brandon) Cook, Douglas Schubert, Cory Albertson and Hayley (Donald) Bueller; great-grandchildren, Brayton Cook, Dustin Cook, Kara Cook, Jaxen Schubert and Adylen Schubert; siblings, Linda (Truman) Lawson, Tony (Karen) Watson, Sandra (Gary) Leach, Leon Watson, Billie Watson, David Watson, Gary (Lisa) Watson and Donnie (Blanche) Watson; also many close friends; Jim always said you were lucky to have one good friend in life, he was very fortunate to have many; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM on Tuesday.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Mountain Ash Baptist Church, 390 Buck Creek Road Williamsburg, KY 40769 with visitation 1-3 PM and the Service following at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in Watson Lawson Cemetery.
