Curt L. Arulf

Curt L. Arulf, 95 of Mason, OH passed away peacefully on July 18, 2018. Curt was the loving husband of Nancy (Kirby) for 59 years, devoted father of Curt Arulf, Jr. and Britt Louise (Steve) Turner, dear brother of Siv Henning and the late Inga Britt Scharmer, loving grandfather of Troy and Corey Turner, Alexandra Arulf, Taylor (Michael) Avidano and Erik Arulf.

Curt was born in Varberg, Sweden in 1922 to Sven Ludwig and Ingeborg Louisa Anderson. After serving in the Swedish Air Force he came to the United States in 1956 to work for GE Aircraft Engines. His plan was to stay for a few years and return to Sweden, however he met the love of his life, Nancy Kirby. They married and started a family and Curt decided to stay in the US. He finished his career at GE and retired after 32 years. Curt always enjoyed reading the Swedish Newspaper online. He said there was more to learn about the US in the Swedish papers than the local papers here. Curt and Nancy loved to travel and did so for nearly 25 years.

Memorial visitation will be at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Thursday, July 26 from 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, if desired memorials may be directed to the Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati, 1057 Meta Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45237.
