Melrose M. Warman (nee Martin),
age 86, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 10, 2018 at SpringHills of Middletown. She was born Saturday, November 21, 1931 in McCreary County, Kentucky to Lewis and Ida (nee Renfro) Martin.
Melrose was great with numbers and found working in accounting positions to be rewarding. Talented at arts and crafts, the family will forever treasure the many handmade doilies, quilts and needle points. A fantastic cook, Melrose could make the best chicken & dumplings and soup beans & cornbread this side of the Ohio River. Her family will forever remember Melrose for her ability to laugh. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Melrose was preceded in death by: her parents, Lewis and Ida Martin; husband of 67 years, Glenn O. Warman; and sisters, Rae Taylor, Glenna Taylor and Dorothy Wahl.
Melrose is survived by: her daughters, Gwenda (Charles) Blevins and Rhonda (Jerry) Stretch; grandchildren, Robert (Sarah) Stretch and Andrew (Jackie) Blevins; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Zachary and Alex Blevins; sisters, Thelma Taylor, Anna Neal and Wilma Calvert; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members and friends.
A Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. The Funeral Service will be Friday at 1:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
