Arlene Rose Wells

Arlene Rose (nee Pettigrew) Wells, age 56, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash.  She was born Sunday, November 26, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Allen Richard and Mary Rose (nee Malloy) Pettigrew. Arlene graduated from Goshen High School in 1980.  On Saturday, November 15, 1980, she married her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey Wells.  A cosmotologist, Arlene had the artist's touch.  She had an eye for photography and enjoyed gifting family and friends with scrapbooks she compiled together creating a lifetime of memories.  When she needed to unwind, you could find her at Lake Waynoka. A devoted wife and mother, there was a unique bond Arlene had with her grandchildren who lovingly called her "Grobby".  They were her pride and joy. Arlene was preceded in death by: her father, Allen Richard Pettigrew; niece, Ashley Moore; father-in-law, William C. Wells; and brother-in-law, James Vockell. Arlene is survived by: her husband of 37 years, Jeff Wells; children, Scotty (Mollie) Wells and Amanda Wells; grandchildren, Spencer Marie Wells and Weston Scott Wells; mother, Mary Rose Pettigrew; siblings, Diane Vockell, Julie (Dale) Bockerstette, James (Robin) Pettigrew, Joseph (Beth) Pettigrew, Christine (Jorge) Benitez, John (Joan) Pettigrew and Jennifer (Ken) Shepperd; mother-in-law, Jenemae Wells; brother-in-law, Bill (Gail) Wells; sisters-in-law, Terri (Jim) Moore and Lorri (Clay) Shepherd; and many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140.  A Visitation will be held in the Day Chapel at St. Columban on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, Ohio.
