Janet Becker

Janet M. (nee Schisel) Becker , age 80, of Felicity, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Eastgatespring of Cincinnati.  She was born, Tuesday, August 10, 1937 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to Clarence and Helen (nee Augustine) Schisel.

Janet married Donald E. Becker on October 27, 1953.  She enjoyed helping her children and spending time with her grandchildren.  Singing in the church choir and cooking meals for the priests brought a smile to her face.

Janet was preceded in death by: parents, Clarence and Helen Schisel; husband, Donald; sons, Donald Jr. and Jeffery; daughter, Susan Menefee; grandson, Eric; great-grandson, Gerard; sister, Mary Ann Schisel; brother, Robert Schisel; and brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Lyndoris Schisel.

Janet is survived by: Son, Jerry (Norma) Becker of Leesburg, Ohio; daughter, Lois (Joseph) Brueggemann of Felicity, Ohio; son, Greg Becker of Middletown, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth (Sandy) Schisel of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, JoAnn Schisel of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; son-in-law, Mike Menefee of Middletown, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Gertrude the Great Church, 4900 Rialto Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.  Rosary will begin at 11:00 AM.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:20 AM at the Church.  Interment will be in Felicity Cemetery, Felicity, Ohio.
