Virginia "Ginny" Johnson

Virginia "Ginny" Johnson (nee Dewey), age 85, of West Chester , Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at West Chester Hospital.  She was born Thursday, May 4, 1933 in White Plains, New York to James and Matilda (nee Riedman) Dewey.

Ginny was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting and needle point.  She was an avid reader of anything in large print.  While Hallmark was by far her favorite channel, the family was never surprised to walk in to find the Sci-Fi channel on.

Ginny was preceded in death by: her parents, James and Matilda Dewey; husband, Donald L. Johnson; sister, Mary Louise Guthart; and infant sister, Nancy Dewey.

Ginny is survived by: three sons, Jeff (Chris) Johnson, Mike Johnson and Steve (Linda) Johnson; grandchildren, Kelli (Patrick) Rynell, Scott Johnson, Sam Johnson, Logan Morrow, Alex (Jacqi) Johnson and Abigail Johnson; and other loving family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Ginny's memory be directed to a Hospice of your choice.
