Anthony P. "Tony" D'Eramo

July 24, 1935 — March 14, 2018

Anthony P. "Tony" D'Eramo , age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio, beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather, died March 14, 2018 at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born Wednesday, July 24, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio to Frank and Adeline (nee Nolfi) D'Eramo.

Tony received his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University, where he met Judy B. Criss, his "Sweet Judy" and wife of 57 years. Tony played for the KSU 1954 Refrigerator Bowl Football Team, the "Team of Distinction" later inducted into the Hall of Fame.  Anthony and Judy were married on Saturday, August 20, 1960 in Kent, Ohio.  Together they would raise three daughters and lovingly welcome four grandchildren.

For Tony, family came first. He planned romantic anniversary trips to wine country and Amish towns with Judy. They enjoyed Italy, England, France and more together. He welcomed holidays and reunions, and the traditions and Italian cooking that came with them all.  In his professional life, Tony was a risk taker and successful entrepreneur.  He started his career at Seiberling Rubber in Akron, Ohio, then accepted a promotion at Firestone Tire and moved his family to Carmel, Indiana. Needing new challenges, he sought his next move and purchased Management Recruiters of Cincinnati.  He subsequently created Management Performance International and Performance Associates Incorporated. Tony retired in 2008.

A dedicated member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, he was involved in fundraising, sponsoring a Little Shepherd's Field of Dreams T-ball field and more. An avid golfer, he will be missed by his friends at Shadowood Country Club Golf Club in Estero, Florida as well as Wetherington Golf & Country Club in West Chester, Ohio. He most recently studied tai chi, and lived a healthy active life until the end.
