Roger E. Yost

Retired US Army Sergeant Major, Roger E. Yost , was escorted to his heavenly home Thursday, March 1, 2018 at West Chester Hospital.  He was born Friday, May 10, 1940 in Kings Mills, Ohio.

While serving in the US Army, Roger received his Associates in Business from Columbia College, Missouri.  He would later retire from the Army as Sergeant Major.  Roger's love for the service would continue as he was dedicated to honoring fallen veteran's with a military service at the graveside.

Roger was preceded in death by: father, Raymond C. Yost; mother, Alamae (nee Parr) Blair; sister, Maxine Allen; and brothers, Raymond Yost and Donald Yost.

Roger is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Barbara A. (nee Hughes) Yost; daughter, Kristine (Aaron) Hershberger; son, Brandon (Amber) Yost; grandchildren, Noah Hershberger, Caleb Hershberger, Cooper Yost and Molly Yost; brother; Jack Yost; and numerous loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will immediately follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mason, Ohio.
