Barbara Allen Pinkerton

Barbara (nee Thompson) Allen Pinkerton ,
a youthful and vibrant 85 years young, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family Saturday, January 20, 2018 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was born Tuesday, February 9, 1932 in Ottawa, Kentucky to Sherman and Flora (nee Siler) Thompson.

Barbara was a successful Realtor in Bradenton, Florida as well as the Hamilton, Fairfield, and Cincinnati, Ohio areas.  She had an amazing ability to earn the trust of her clients quickly establishing a rapport of being honest and dependable.  Not only did Barbara specialize in Real Estate, but she could have been an interior decorator/designer as well.  Her home was always pristine yet comfortable and welcoming.  Barbara took great pride in how she presented herself.  Her outfit would be coordinated from head to toe no matter what the day promised.  Barbara always looked forward to taking road trips with Thomas and her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents, Sherman and Flora Thompson; husband, Thomas E. Pinkerton; son, Paul H. Allen; and sister, Ruby Adams.

Barbara is survived by: her daughters, Vickie (Larry) Wells, Sr. and Peggy (David) Wear; step-daughters, Joyce (Bob) Kreger and Janice Heck; grandchildren, Larry (Susan) Wells Jr., Levi (Amanda) Wells, Ryan Parker, Nathan Wells, Christopher (Emily) Wear, Tyler Wear and Laura (Charlie) Wade, Jackie Edwards, Elizabeth (Dan) Demott; great-grandchildren, Brooke Wells, Morgan Wells, Avery Wells, Peyton Wells, Riley Wells, Logan Wells, Owen Wells, Addie Wells, McKenzie Parker, Evan Parker, Marina Wear, baby Wear on the way, Annabelle Wade, Sarah Demott, and Sophia Demott; siblings, Charles (Myrtle) Thompson, Jay (Diane Dorsey) Thompson, Lavonna (Jim) Payne, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Kidwell and Patsy (Edward) Daugherty; a special friend Al Norman; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Ron Dotson officiating at the Funeral Home.

Barbara will be entombed next to her husband in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, Florida.
