Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Hubert Clifton Magill, parents, Ben and Sophia Warnack, brother, Roland Warnack, son, Dr. Hubert Lynn Magill (daughter-in-law Nancy Magill), daughter, Marilyn Mills Magill and son, Russell Milton Magill.
She was a graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, IL,, where she was also a former member of the First Presbyterian Church. Helen was an active member in P.E.O for 50 years. She loved her family, enjoyed tatting, knitting prayer shawls, volunteering, and walking. She spent quality time reading and writing as well as editing family memoirs and writing articles for the Kirby Pines monthly magazine.
Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at HSHS St. Mary's Hospital, 1800 East Lake Shore Drive, Decatur, IL 62521 on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Magill Scholarship Fund, HSHS St. Mary's Hospital Foundation.
