J. Lee Patrick

J. Lee Patrick, age 79, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at West Chester Hospital.  He was born Thursday, September 22, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to Joseph Michael and Juanita Catherine (nee Guntle) Patrick. Lee served our country in the United States Army.  Although he held many positions through his life, he was a salesman at heart.  Lee had a passion for dogs and even owned a PetStore at one point, which many family members have fond memories of.  An avid sportsfan, the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and the BearCats were his favorite teams to support.  Spending time on the water boating and skiing always brought a smile to his face.  Lee had a talent for gardening and loved spreading the joy of color through his yard.  Playing scratch-offs or going to Vegas held the same amount of excitement for Lee.  For anyone who knew Lee, you know his favorite word......remember him with a smile! Lee was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Juanita Patrick; wife of 40 years, Melody S. Patrick; and step-daughter, Kelly Seyfriend. Lee is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl ( Lance) Angle and Shawn (Aaron) Cowan; grandchildren, Alex, Somer, Logan, Jack and Sam; sisters, Deann Halsey and Linda (Dan) Prather; brothers, Bill (Darcey) Patrick and Craig (Roxanne) Patrick; and many loving family members and friends.
