Eleanor L. Brinkmann Follmer

Eleanor Brinkmann Follmer (nee Koenig), age 97, of Sharonville, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her residence.  She was born Thursday, June 17, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Louis and Belinda (nee McGinnis) Koenig.

As a talented seamstress, Eleanor managed a fabric store for many years.  She took great pride in making her daughter's wedding dress, designing Barbie Doll clothes and even upholstering living room chairs.  Mystery books were her favorite, but Eleanor could be found reading anything.  In her retirement, Eleanor went on several wonderful trips with her lady friends with her favorite destination being Ireland.  She shared in her granddaughter's love of nature and found great joy in volunteering for Great Parks at the Nature's Niche for more than 25 years.

Eleanor was preceded in death by: her parents, Louis and Belinda Koenig; sister, Rosemary Prichard; first husband, Harry J. Brinkmann; second husband, Richard Follmer; son-in-law, Robert Seppelt; and granddaughter, Lauren Seppelt.

Eleanor is survived by: her daughter, Barbara Brinkmann Seppelt; sister, Patricia Collopy; granddaughter, Jennifer (husband, Kurt) Maschari; grandson, Michael Seppelt; special family friend, Nancy Renner; and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Chapel, 8815 E. Kemper Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM in the Chapel.  Interment will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
