Gladys Hill

Gladys Hill (nee Rutherford), age 75, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away peacefully Sunday, October 22, 2017 at University Hospital.  She was born Tuesday, November 25, 1941 in Barbourville, Kentucky to John and Della (nee Hensley) Rutherford.

The matriarch of her family, Gladys was proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved to go Antiquing and shopping Thrift Stores.  Working at Goodwill for the last four years provided an opportunity for her to socialize while helping others.  Gladys loved to play cards and recently discovered a new love of games on her tablet.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Gladys was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Della Rutherford; husband of 38 years, Roy Hill; daughter, Vonda Weist; and son, Belajaron "Preacher" Couch.

Gladys is survived by: her daughters, Gail (Stan) Swanner and Jo (Bob) Hutsenpiller; sons, Greg Couch and Herb (Mandy Mineer) Hill; daughter-in-law, Beth Couch; step-children, Nan Lewis and Ned Hill; grandchildren, Aaron (Kirsten) Couch, Alana Steele, Angela (George) Crawford, Branson Hill, Brayden Hill, Corey (Whitney) Couch, Joe Couch, Jon Couch, Megan (Mike) Joyce, Nick Hutsenpiller, Rob (Angie) Couch, Samantha Steele, Stephanie (Steven) Hurd, and Stacy (Joe Maze) Weist; great-grandchildren, Caleb Risner, Grace Risner, Haylie Owens, Hunter Couch, Lathan Couch, Paul Weist and Robert Couch; and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 27, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Ohio.
