Patti V. Flynn

Patti Vogelaar Flynn, 63, of Mason, OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 in Blue Ash, OH. Born in Saginaw, MI to Howard and Vivian Vogelaar on May 1, 1954.

Patti is the beloved wife of Jerry Flynn, loving daughter of Howard and the late Vivian Flory Vogelaar, devoted sister of Sally (Mitchell) Urbain and Michael Vogelaar, also survived by many nieces and nephews.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Patti was raised in St. Charles, MI and graduated from Western Michigan University.  She worked at Hodgson's Light, Log and Patio in Kalamazoo, Michigan for 25 years before moving to Cincinnati and becoming the proud owner of Patti Flynn Lighting, LLC. She created many award winning lighting projects and served as an Officer and a Past President of IES, Illuminating Engineers Society. She was an active member of St. Susanna's Parish in Mason OH and taught Christian formation for many years. Patti loved family gatherings, being with her friends, fashion, gardening, sewing and of course lighting.

Visitation at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 5-8 PM. Also visitation at Kendall Funeral Home, 316 W. Belle Avenue, St. Charles, MI 48655 on Sunday, October 1 from 3-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday in St. Charles, MI followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery.
