Patrick Mueller

Patrick "Pat" Mueller, age 63, of West Chester, Ohio passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at West Chester Hospital.  He was born Saturday, December 26, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Ed and Dillaye (nee Spiers) Mueller.

Pat received his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.  On Saturday, September 23, 1995, Pat married his best-friend, Diana at the White House Inn of West Chester.  Together they built an amazing life, sharing their love of family that extended far beyond blood.  Spending time chasing the grandchildren around, having light saber wars, nerf gun wars, building musical instruments out of tissue boxes and paper towel rolls, making kites to fly and so much more, brought a sense of pride and accomplishment to him.

An avid sportsman, Pat was especially fond of baseball.  After a 108-year drought, Pat was excited to watch his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs, finally win the 2016 World Series.  He was also a talented marksman either hunting or target shooting.

Pat is survived by: his loving wife, Diana Mueller; children, Kimberly (Joe) Eckert, Katherine (CJ) Stolman, Matthew Mueller, Heath (Jessica) Stephens, Fr. James Mueller and Kyle Stephens; grandchildren, Bridget Eckert, Elijah Eckert, Dominic Eckert, Jacob Stolman, Isabella Stolman, Melissa Mueller, Margaret Mueller, Luke Mueller and Daniella Stephens-Gray; and many friends he loved as his family.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
