Donald Greer

Donald Greer, age 73, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday, September 4, 2017 at his residence.  He was born Monday, October 11, 1943 in Manchester, Kentucky to Steven and Anna (nee Cupp) Greer. Earning an Associates Degree from University of Cincinnati, Don worked as a chemist converting Ore Uranium for Monsanto.  His passion for architecture and buildings led to a job as a flooring salesrep.  Don won several awards through his career including an amazing trip to Europe as Salesman of the Year. Don had a wide collection of vinyl records and used books and was a well known visitor to the half-price book store.  One of his favorite bands was the Beatles.  Don enjoyed astronomy and looking through his telescope.  He also had a passion for classic cars, convertibles and tennis.  Don was preceded in death by: his parents, Steven and Anna Greer; wife, Toni (nee Land) Greer; and siblings, June Hacker, Gene Greer and Marian Bartlett. Don is survived by: son, Steve Greer; daughter, Christi (Mark) McEntire; grandsons, Carter, Collin and Carson McEntire; sister, Doll Caudill; brother, Glen Greer; and many loving family members, friends and neighbors. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Lonnie Vestal officiating at the Funeral Home.
