William P. Roy, age 66, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 16, 2017 in West Chester Hospital. He was born Thursday, July 5, 1951 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Ralph and Gratia (nee Nolin) Roy.
Bill enjoyed spending time and traveling with his family. He was proud of Max and Alex playing for the OSU Marching Band and enjoyed filming the band at every home game. Bill's work as an Account Manager with the Community Blood Center was very rewarding to him. As a handyman at home, Bill's family could depend on him to fix just about anything. He also enjoyed cooking, reading, and his four legged friends: Tott, Sunny, Gus, and Mr. Mustache.
Bill was preceded in death by: his parents, Ralph and Gratia Roy.
Bill is survived by: his wife, Suzanne (nee Spaeth) Roy; sons, Max Roy and Alex Roy; brother, Michael Roy; brothers-in-law, Barry (Doreen) Spaeth and Tom (Diane) Spaeth; sister-in-law, Melissa (Tom) Barton; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM on Sunday at the Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery, 171 Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Ohio State University Marching Band, 100% TBDBITL Endowed Scholarship Fund (483164).
