Carl A. Enslen , beloved husband to Jenifer Enslen and loving father to Alexander, Maxwell, and Emily, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Carl was born February 9, 1956 to Anna Lee Moller of Wilmington, Ohio and the late Norbert W. Enslen. In addition to his wife, children, and mother, Carl is survived by his brother Norbert (Cheryl) Enslen, sister Susan Shaw Nickel, brother Michael Enslen, mother-in-law JoAnn Davidson, sister-in-law Julie Davidson (David Huelsman), niece Lauren Lane, nephew Andrew Enslen, and nephew Taylor Huelsman.

Carl graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1978. He had a 22-year career in state government, working as the Southwest Ohio Regional Liaison under Ohio Attorney General and Auditor of State Betty Montgomery and Auditor of State Mary Taylor. Most recently, he was Deputy Inspector General under Ohio Inspector General Randall Meyer. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America. He maintained an active commitment to the Boy Scouts for many years, formerly serving as Assistant Scout Master and Committee Member for Troop 750 in Mason, Ohio.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 18, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 6546 S. Mason-Montgomery Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America, 10078 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.
