Jean B. Vicars

Jean B. (nee Norton) Vicars, age 89, of Clarksville, Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, June 16, 2017.  She was born Friday, April 20, 1928 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Reuben and Emma Geraldine (nee Lovell) Norton.

Jean was a Tax Examiner for the State of Indiana.  She had a deep faith in God and enjoyed her fellowship time with others.  Reading and playing games, especially word games like Probe and Scrabble, were favorite pastimes of hers.  Jean was an amazing baker with her specialties being Red Velvet Cake and Cinnamon Rolls. Although others might have Jean's recipe, it will never be quite the same as hers!

Jean was preceded in death by: her parents, Reuben and Emma Norton; a son, Stephen Lee Vicars; and her former husband, Paul Norman Vicars .

Jean is survived by: her son, Paul David (Nancy) Vicars; daughter, Norma Jean (Fred) Freeman; sister, Donna Mae Monaghan; grandchildren, Cynthia L. (Roger) Bloemker, Gregory D. (Tifanie) Vicars, Jeffrey T. Freeman, Rebecca D. (Kaelin) Goff, Emily N. Freeman and Maria J. (Logan) Kyger; great-grandchildren, Caylynn & Logan Bloemker, Kaisen & Haiden Vicars and Barrett Kyger; also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will also be on Tuesday at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 E. Lytle 5 Points Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458, please meet us at the front gate at 2:00 PM for the graveside service.
