Sam B. Malone

Sam Malone, age 56, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully Thursday, May 11, 2017 at West Chester Hosptial.  He was born Wednesday, August 3, 1960 in Tell City, Indiana to Earl and Sandy (nee Heitkemper) Malone.

Sam was a Corporate Risk Manager for AK Steel Corporation and found enjoyment on the golf course.  He was a true Indiana Hoosier Basketball fan but also enjoyed the Reds.  Sam was in fact a passionate sports supporter and if he was not the coach, he was on the side lines cheering on his favorite athletes, Samantha and Logan.

FAMILY.  There was absolutely nothing in this world more important to Sam than his family.  Whether it was going on vacations traveling to a favorite destination spot or exploring a new one, or just sitting on the patio sharing stories, spending time with his family brought Sam the most joy.

Sam is survived by: his wife, Connie (nee Burch) Malone; daughter, Samantha Malone; son, Logan Malone; parents, Earl and Sandy Malone; siblings, Scott (Judith Robinson) Malone, Stacy (Henry) Larsen, Steve (Kathryn West) Malone and Sally (Bart) Mulzer; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Charlotte Burch; sisters-in-law, Christy (Glenn) Norton and Carla (John) Zorowski; nieces and nephews, Mary Lauren, Jillian, Allie, Abby, Mitchell, Maddie, Morgan, Mallory, Julia, Adam, Scott, Craig and Brett; also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Prayer Service will follow at 6:30 PM at the Funeral Home.
