Robert K. Mowry

Robert K. 'Bob' Mowry, age 94, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Mason Christian Village in Mason, Ohio. He was born 1922 in Johnstown, Pa. to the late Harry G. and Emma Mowry. He was the beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Mowry (nee Johnson) for 53 years. Dear father of Cindy (Jim ) McVey, Carol (Bob) Turner and John (Denise) Mowry. Devoted grandfather of Melissa, Elizabeth, Amy, David, Rob, Doug, Jessica, Jennifer, and Jacqueline and also devoted great-grandfather of 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Bertrand Mowry, Paul Mowry, Angela Driscoll and Ruth Mowry, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob attended The First Lutheran Church in Johnstown, Pa. Bob and his wife Betty retired to Stuart, Fl in 1982 where they lived for more than 30 years. They were members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

He was devoted to his wife Betty and family throughout his life. He enjoyed many years of travel and one of their favorite travel memories was seeing the Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany. In April of 2013 Bob and his wife Betty, moved to Cincinnati to be near family.

Bob's visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Mason Christian Village Chapel, 411 Western Row Road, Mason, OH followed by funeral service at 3:30 PM. To send a condolence, visit MuellerfuneralS.com 513-398-9100
