Laurie J. Hibner

Laurie J. Hibner (nee Wimberly), 56, beloved wife of John A. Hibner, loving mother of Sarah J. Hibner and Katie E. Hibner, and devoted daughter of the late Charlton and Jane Wimberly, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 19, 2017.

Laurie loved spending time with her family, especially her girls, Sarah and Katie. She supported their dreams and passions as much as she could, attending all of Sarah’s dance competitions and each of Katie’s plays. Laurie was an avid reader and admirer of the arts. She was also dedicated to bettering the lives of children: for several years, she worked for the Karen Carns Foundation, an organization that provides scholarships to local students in need. For over two decades, she volunteered with Kindervelt to raise money for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 6-8 PM.  Private Service and Interment.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Donations C/O Laurie Hibner be directed to the Karen Carns Foundation, 4600 Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, OH 45040, or Kindervelt of Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Dept. of Development, 3333 Burnet Avenue, MLC 90025, Cincinnati, OH 45229.
