Kathleen Marie (Driscoll) Weinle passed away peacefully March 5, 2017 after a long illness. She was born December 8, 1938 in Buffalo NY. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marcella Driscoll, and her brother, James Driscoll. She leaves behind her husband, Joseph F. Weinle of Cincinnati; her son, Neil Mack (Carol) of New York, NY; her daughter Sheila Blake (Dave) of Hanover, MA; her step-son, Joseph Weinle (Mary) of Cincinnati; her step-daughter, Mary Beth Robson (Brad) of Frankfort, KY; her sister Maureen O'Connell (Daniel, deceased), Buffalo NY; and her grandchildren Ryan Blake, Julia Bates, Marina Robson, Curtis Blake, Denise Robson, Mitchell Weinle, Catherine Mack and John Mack. She will also be missed by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Kathy was a nurse, an educator, and a juris doctor. She taught nursing and ethics at the University of Cincinnati and served on the Ohio Board of Nursing. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she was an avid gardener and traveler. She was active in her parish and brought joy and kindness to many.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080 Cincinnati Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. The Memorial Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM at the Church.
