Blake Alan Werth, age 28 of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born Monday, October 17, 1988 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Alan Ray and Susan Diane (nee Haxton) Werth.
Blake was a 2007 graduate of Lakota East High School. He was blessed from birth with exceptional athletic skills, playing many positions in several sports. He was most fond of pitching baseball and playing guard in basketball. People were drawn to his easy-going style, soft-spokeness, and non-judgmental nature. Blake could strike up a conversation with anyone, and make everyone feel at ease.
In 2010, Blake received his most treasured gift of all! His twin sons were the light of his life! Caden and Cale share their Fathers love of art, drawing many pictures for him, that Blake proudly displayed on his refrigerator.
Blake was preceded in death by: paternal grandmother, Cleo (nee Stoecklein) Werth; maternal grandfather, Duane Haxton; an Aunt, Denise Werth; and a cousin, John Mathew Dick.
Blake is survived by: sons, Caden Ray and Cale Alan Werth; parents, Alan and Susan Werth; brothers, Garrett (Gabby) Werth and Tyler "TJ" Werth; his first love, Cassie Kairn; paternal grandfather, Alfred J. Werth; maternal grandmother, Barbara (nee Meyeres) Haxton; aunts and uncles, David (Denise) Werth, Marie (Greg) Dick, Paula Mayes, Lisa (Darin) Calbert, Lori (Greg) Anderson and Tom (Mijkin) Haxton; and many loving cousins, family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Memorial Mass will be Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069. Inurnment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Liberty Township, Ohio
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Blake, be directed to an education fund for Cale and Caden.
