Ebert A. Adams, age 84, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born Friday, June 10, 1932 in Ripley County, Indiana to Eber and Henrietta (nee Gilbert) Adams.
Ebert served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a commercial electrician which might have led to his talent he will forever be remembered for. Ebert had an ability to fix anything. Yes, anything. It may not look brand new, as good as it once was, or even good, but it was always functioning. His family as well as many friends could tell endless stories of Mr. Fix It.
Ebert also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and brothers and always looked forward to the week long trips with the boys. One of his favorite authors was Louis L'Amour, however any classic western book or the good ol' black and white western movies always brought a smile to his face. If Ebert ever felt the need to get his blood pumping, he would sit and watch the Reds or Xavier Basketball.
Ebert was preceded in death by: his parents, Eber and Henrietta Adams; brothers, George Adams and Eber John Adams; and sisters, Gladys Pileri, Jayne Oxley, Dolly Adams and Barbra Toops.
Ebert is survived by: his loving wife of 59 years, Clarissa "Chris" (nee Suttmann) Adams; daughters, Gayla (Robert) Ebersole, Sherry (Vicente) Panizo and Stefanie (Steven) Hoffmeier; grandchildren, Stephanie & Andrea Sterling, Samuel & Gabriela Panizo and Nicholas Hoffmeier; brother, Eric (Marilyn) Adams; sisters, Ella Miller and Cora Moffett; and many other loving family members and friends.
