Cynthia Louise Dixon, 59, of Liberty Township, died at 2:45pm Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born to James R. Perry (spouse Pamela Perry) and Roberta A. Hock (spouse Robert A. Hock), both of Cindi's parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband Craig L. Dixon. She is also survived by many devoted immediate family members such as her sons: Chad M. Dixon, Matthew R. Dixon (fiancé Crystal Abbott), and grandchildren: McKenzie N. Dixon, Kaylee M. Dixon, Colton P. Dixon and stepgrandchildren Payton J. Abbott and Kelsee N. Hibbard.
Along with her immediate family Cindi is survived by her three younger siblings and their adoring families: Steven K. Perry (spouse Cindy, children Amy N. Sockman (Perry), Zachary J. Perry, Ross K. Perry), Michelle E. Hock (Perry) (children Kathryn A. Hock, Courtney A. Speigel (Hock)) and Colleen M. Perry (partner Dan, children Christian H. Hill and Nicole M. Hill).
Cindi was blessed to have a loving and close relationship with her husband’s family just like her own. She is survived by father and mother in-law: Eugene L. Dixon and Nancy L. Dixon (Johnson), as well as their other children with their families: Cindy J. Garcia (Dixon) (spouse Joe, children Michael Garcia), Kirk W. Dixon (children Sarah J. Dixon and Chloe E. Dixon)
Cindi was a 1975 West High Graduate in Columbus, Ohio. She later went on to receive her Associate Degree in Applied Business from University of Cincinnati. She worked most of her adult life in an educational setting, most currently in the Finance Office of the Lakota School System in Butler County, Ohio. Her family was her heart and soul; and she was mesmerized by her beloved grandchildren. She was talented in sewing, bear-making, and jewelry making. She loved to travel, read and was a wine connoisseur. Cindi’s greatest attributes were her hospitable, loving, joyful, sweet nature. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be a Cincinnati showing at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Friday March 17, 2017 from 7-9pm for those in the area who wish to pay their respects to Cindi and condolences to the family. This will be followed by a showing at Dwayne R. Spence funeral home, 650 W. Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, OH, 43110 on Saturday March 18, 2017 from 12pm-2pm for those in the Columbus area who wish to pay their respects to Cindi and condolences to the family. There will be a short service immediately following where Cindi will then be taken to Obtez Cemetery in Obetz, Ohio.
