Ruth Carol Duffy

Ruth Carol Duffy (nee O'Rourke), 82, beloved wife of the late Patrick T. Duffy, Sr., devoted mother of Peter J. (Carol) Duffy, Dennis M. (Diane) Duffy, Patrick T. (Damarys) Duffy, Jr., Kevin (Dawn) Duffy, Jennifer (Thomas) Duffy Darby and the late Dr. Maria Duffy Sandvig (Morris Sandvig), caring daughter of the late William and Elaine O'Rourke, dear sister of Elaine O'Rourke, Kay O'Rourke, William O'Rourke, Sally Pfetzer, Gail Moefield and the late Patrick O'Rourke, loving grandmother of Jessica (Kyle) Duffy, Joey (Ashley) Duffy, Andy (Jenny) Duffy, Jenny Duffy, Laura Duffy, Brenden Duffy, Lauren and Dan, Nick, Anthony, Matthew, Aaron, Dennis, Christopher A. Duffy, Raquel I. Duffy, Donovan Duffy, Gavin Duffy, Annemarie Duffy, Noah Sandvig, Olivia Sandvig, Patrick Darby and Maura Darby, great-grandmother of Marissa Duffy, Kyle Duffy, Jr. and Liam Duffy. Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2017 in West Chester, OH.

Ruth was a loving mother, devoted wife, compassionate, devout Catholic.  She had a mischievous smile and a sparkling laugh.  Her life revolved around family and faith; children, grandchildren, and parish activities.  Ruth grew up in Price Hill, St. William's Parish.  She attended Seton High School and The College of Mount Saint Joseph.  Ruth was an integral part of growing The Duffy Real Estate Company with her late husband, Patrick T. Duffy, Sr.    She was an active member in the St. Antonius, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and St. Suzanna's parishes.   She raised six children in loving home.  Ruth loved to cook for big gatherings, loved to garden, loved music and dancing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 2nd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A second Visitation will be held Friday, March 3rd 9:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. Reception gathering to follow in the undercroft at church. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery Old.
