Eloise V. Ellison

Eloise Virginia (Musser) Ellison was born in Fairmont, WVA February 28th, 1930 to Dr. Cloyd M Musser and Elsie V (Alger) Musser and her older sister, Doris Jean Butcher.

Her sense of family, generational stories and memory was amazing. She could remember conversations from both parents concerning historical legacies and traditions. This is one story we thought showed her spirit:
Her father was an orthodontist in WVa and had to open an additional office in Morgantown as Mother would remove her braces when she had dates while at West Virginia University and could not get them back on properly.

Mother devoted her time to raising her three children and later began a career in marketing research and upon retirement, moved to Mason to be closer to her family. She enjoyed the Mason Community Center, bridge, book club, the Red Hat Ladies and lobster. She loved lobster! And donuts!

Mother had a lot of spunk and some great momism's including:
"That coat attracts everything but men and money."
"If you do something bad, I will know about it before you get home."
And the plaque in her kitchen, "Many people have eaten in this kitchen and have gone on to lead normal healthy lives." Mother was not a very good cook but it obviously didn't bother her!

She leaves behind her three children Karen Kranak (Jerry), Kathy Ellison and Robert Ellison (Terri), three granddaughters Kelly Kranak Wang (Michael), Lauren Kranak Slack (Michael) and Jamie Ellison and two great grandchildren Logan Eloise and Ryan Michael Wang.
Mother will be buried on her 87th birthday (she was organized that way), but her spirit lives on in the hearts and memories of her beloved family.
