Chris Davis

Chris Davis, age 47, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was born Monday, June 2, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  Chris is survived by: his loving wife of 23 years, Cathy (Williams) Davis; children, Kyle, Katlyn, Connor, Claire, Craig, Caleb, Corinne, and Carolyn Davis; parents, Ray and Donna Davis; sister, Bev (Greg) Lotz; parents-in-law, Darrell and Vivian Williams; sisters-in-law, Toni Williams and Paige (Mike) Gramaglia; nephews, Jordan and Zachary Klare, Josh Gramaglia and many other cherished family members, church family, friends and co-workers.

While attending college, Chris played football for University of Cincinnati, completing his undergraduate degree at Northern Kentucky University.  He later returned to the University of Cincinnati to earn his Masters degree. He married his high school sweetheart, Cathy Williams, on November 20, 1993 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  His career path included treasured memories working with staff and students in the following school districts: New Richmond, Mason, Milford, Sycamore, West Clermont and his current position as Human Resource Director for the Kettering School System.

While Chris was dedicated to his profession, his true passion was his faith in God and spending time with his wife and eight children.  Chris was the Chief Cheerleader for all of the sporting events and activities the kids were involved in.  He enjoyed sharing his love for being outdoors and fishing with his family. He was known to tackle the kitchen finding new recipes, saving the day by sticking to old food favorites, and discovering ways to include chocolate to any meal.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Tri-County Baptist Church, 8195 Beckett Road, West Chester, Ohio 45069.  A second Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2017 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Brian McManus officiating.  Interment will be held privately for the family.

Chris was a person that loved life and enjoyed everyone he met along his journey.  The family has requested you bring a story or favorite memory of Chris to record in a book of remembrances.  They will be able to read these into the future, learning how he has impacted your life, and cherish them for years to come.
