Maryann Rose Begovich

Maryann Rose (Matijas) Begovich's work here was completed Tuesday morning, January 10, 2017 after a brief illness.  She was born on September 8, 1930 in Buffalo, NY and remained a Buffalo gal even after she and her husband reluctantly moved to West Chester, OH two and a half years ago.

Her long life could not be captured in 140 characters or less.  Mother, skilled baker, patient, generous, adept china painter, Gramma, creative, ardent theater goer, excellent listener, sympathetic, Aunt Maryann, compassionate, keen traveler, avid reader, love.  These describe the woman we have been blessed to have in our lives.  Because we knew her, we have not only been changed for the better, but we have been changed for good.

Maryann is outlasted by her treasured family:  her faithful, but gruff husband of 62 years, Joseph; their two devoted children and their spouses, Maryann and Frank McNamara and Joseph and Pamela Begovich; three adored grandchildren, Connor McNamara, Michael Begovich, and Rachel Begovich; sister and husband, Joyce and Mark Underwood; brother-in-law George Rovison; beloved nieces and nephews, Teresa Jones, Dawn White, David Underwood and Zachary Underwood; plus five great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in passing by her sister Helen Rovison, as well as her Mumma (Mary) and Daddy (Anton).
