Pearl Greenberg

Pearl Greenberg, 82, devoted mother of Jill Greenberg  Kelley  and Jarrett Greenberg,  Mother in Law of Chad Kelley, former wife of the late Joe Greenberg. Passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017

Her father, Ovag Atamian, worked at Ford Motor Company. Her mother, Mary, was a homemaker.  She is predeceased by her brother, Berch, who died at 56, as well as her brother Bob, who died at 45...she out lived them all by making it to 82.

Pearl was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 17, 1934. She graduated from Southwest High and worked for Hughes Hatcher Suffrin in cosmetics. She relocated to Columbus, Ohio where she spent 45 years. She worked for Lazarus/Macy's for 30 years. She retired at the age of 75. Pearl also volunteered for several organizations in Columbus, and was a Member of Haddasah and Bnai Brith. She loved to play tennis, she played weekly for years, and attended a tennis camp in Michigan.

She moved to Cincinnati on January 7, 2014 to be close to her daughter and son in law.  They made sure that the rest of her life was the best of her life. She volunteered and attended several charity events with her daughter, including: political events and fundraisers, supporting the West Chester Hospital, Community Foundation, Reach Out Lakota, One Way Farm to name just a few. Pearl loved the West Chester Activity Center where she met new friends, played volley ball, and went on Casino trips among other great events they offered.

She loved going to the Aveda Fredric's Institute monthly with her daughter for Spa Days.  This meant the works,  hair, manicures and pedicures! Pearl loved shopping, going out to eat with her friends and enjoying life. She missed Easton in Columbus, and was thrilled when Liberty Center opened.  She was very excited to attend the ribbon cutting. She had an infectious smile and laugh that will always be remembered.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040 on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1:00 PM until time of Service at 2:30 PM.  Interment will be at Woodmere Cemetery, in Detroit, Michigan.
