Timothy James Koller, 68, of Liberty Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 8, 2017 with his wife at his side, at University Hospital. He had a 13 year long battle with cancer due to Agent Orange, that he smiled through the entire time. He was born Wednesday, December 8, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John and Jessie (nee Farrell) Koller.
Tim was drafted into the United States Army, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War from February 1969 to February 1971. Only to come home to an ungrateful nation.
Tim and Brenda were married May 1, 1982 in Mason, Ohio. They were long time residents of Mason until 1995 when they moved to Liberty Township, Ohio. Tim and Brenda went to Sugar Run Valley Baptist church until he was no longer able to go. Tim and Ron Norton ( his brother in law) owned TK Concrete Construction for many years. Tim was a cement finisher his entire life, just like many of his family members. He enjoyed going to ball games as much as he could. He was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. The Cincinnati Reds honored Tim as their Hometown Hero for his service in Vietnam. He even met the entire Harlem Globetrotters Team after a game. Tim loved having people take photos with him, especially his doctors and nurses. However, his favorite thing to do was show off pictures of his dogs.
Tim was preceded in death by: his parents John and Jessie Koller; his father in law Charles DeVore; sisters, Janet Tracy and Charlene Freeze; and brothers, Jerry Koller, Jackie Koller, and Walter Koller.
Tim is survived by: his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda Jean (nee Norton) Koller; daughter Amy Koller; dogs, Daisy May and Lucy Goosie; brothers, John Allen (Sally) Koller, Danny (Lindy) Koller, Tom (Pat) Koller, Terry Koller, and Stan Koller; sisters Bev Harrison and Sue (Ron) Vearil; sister in law, Darlene Koller; brother in law, Morrison Tracy; mother in law, Ida Middleton DeVore, honorary grandchildren, Austin Eveleth and Audrina Eveleth; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
