For those who called him Jimmy, Jimbo, Dad, Grandpa, Uncle Jim, brother, brother-in-law, Jim Jim, we sadly, with broken hearts, want to tell you Jim passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 10:40 pm. He fought the fight, especially the last six months.
During this time, he was able to spend lots of time with Glen, Craig, Julie, Ryan and Brady. They made him smile and feel so loved. We had family come from Colorado with the little ones he so adored. Nancy and Jerry were our rocks. More friends and Jim's sister came to visit.
We thank everyone for the messages, e-mails, texts, and cards to support our family and Jim. In his passing, he gave the gift of sight to 2 people through organ donation.
So Dear Ones, when you walk on the beach and feel the water between your toes, see a car race (preferable midgets and sprint cars), see a shiny sports car or eat pizza, think of Jim and how those things made him smile and celebrate life.
Watch your grandkids play and play sports. He was so proud of his guys. Hug your kids, say "I love you" and treasure each day you have with them.
With sadness, but with joy for being part of his life, blessings to you all.
