William G. Robinson

William G. "Bill" Robinson, age 85, of Liberty Twp., Ohio, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Hospice of Southwest Ohio.  He was born Sunday, May 17, 1931 in Akron, Ohio to William Green and Emily Power (nee Gale) Robinson.

A 1952 graduate from Duke with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, Bill was an avid fan of Duke Basketball.  He retired from Aurora Casket Company as a Vice President of National Sales.  Bill's family will remember three simple words when they think of him.  God, Family and Golf........  A strong believer in the word of God, a man that worked hard to provide for his family, and an athlete that enjoyed the companionship of friends and co-workers on the green.

Bill was preceded in death by: his parents, William and Emily Robinson; and a sister, Lynn Hines.

Bill is survived by: his wife of 64 years, Joan (nee Shortal) Robinson; children, Debbie (Dave) Tancibok, Margie (Dan) Kernen and William "Rob" Robinson; grandchildren, Kristi (Will) Wagers, Adam (Melanie) Seibel, Justin (Jane) Kernen, Nicole (John) Vandenbemden, Joe Kernen, Jennifer (Eric) Krause, Sarah (Josh) Salow and Pat Kernen; 14great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Private Graveside service will be held for the family.
