Edward R. Sensel

Edward R. Sensel, 79, of Mason, Ohio, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 26, 2016.  He was born on October 22, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Edward and Edna (nee Ackerman) Sensel.  He attended the Covington Latin School, Xavier University and University of Detroit Mercy, earning a B.S. in mechanical engineering.  After 2 years of active duty in the military he returned home to Southgate, KY and ultimately sought employment with IBM as a systems engineer and ended this career path 35 years later as a SAP consultant in Oct. 1999. Since that time Ed enjoyed everything golf, whether playing, regularly attending PGA tournaments, or just watching it on TV.  Ed also enjoyed world travel with his wife and friends.

Ed leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Kathy (nee Hall) Sensel; two sons, Ed (Tricia) Sensel and Matt (Shelly) Sensel; six grandchildren, Stephen, Ted, Anna, Maya, Logan and Molly Sensel; and siblings, Leo (Pat) Sensel, Carolyn Zink, Kathy (Rick) Crall, Linda (Ted) Kunkel and the late Paul Sensel; sister-in-law, Joyce Sensel; and many nieces and nephews.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 AM until the Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at Lakeview United Church of Christ, 8639 Columbia Rd., at Landen, OH 45039.
