Anna L. Corkhill

Anna L. (nee Pignataro) Corkhill, age 67, of West Chester, Ohio, was greeted by angels and escorted to Heaven on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at West Chester Hospital.  She was born Wednesday, April 6, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to Carmine and Marie (nee Sciarrillo) Pignataro.

Anna was very active with St. Maximilian Kolbe for many years.  She was currently serving as the President of the Young at Heart Group with the church and also volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.  A social butterfly, Anna was a member of the Red Hat Society.  She truly enjoyed spending time with her friends.  Retired from her job as a medical receptionist, Anna found her true passion of shopping.  The employees of Kohl's and Wal-Mart will miss her smiling face.  Anna also enjoyed putting her feet up and reading a good book, but her true passion was her family.  Keeping her guys in line, making sure they were doing the right thing at the right time was what brought happiness to her heart.

Anna was preceded in death by: her parents, Carmine and Marie Pignataro; brother, John Pignataro; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Corkhill; brother-in-law, Charles W. Corkhill; and sister-in-law, Patricia Starr.

Anna is survived by: her loving husband of 41 years, Thomas J. Corkhill; sons, Matthew (Tina) Corkhill, Timothy Corkhill and Sean Corkhill; brother, Salvatore Pignataro; grandson, Kai Compton; and many other loving family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A second Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 5720 Hamilton-Mason Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45011.  Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:30 AM at the church.
