Catherine B. Farrell, age 71, of Mason, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was born Tuesday, April 24, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Thomas J. and Rosella M. (nee Hanney) Farrell.
Catherine worked for GM/EDS for over 30 years before retiring. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Catherine loved caring for her dogs which she treated like her children.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Thomas J. and Rosella M. Farrell; brother, Dennis P. Farrell; nephew, Brian Farrell; and several of her beloved dogs.
Catherine is survived by: brother, Thomas Farrell; sister-in-law, Babs Norman; nieces and nephews, Douglas Farrell, Christopher Norman, Tammy Farrell Mogavero and Thomas Farrell; many cousins including David Huber who was her primary caregiver along with neighbors and friends, Laura and Joe Yarbrough; and her dog, Mr. Cuddles.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Susanna Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040. A Memorial Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
