Wenzhen Yan

Wenzhen Yan, age 54, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at West Chester Hospital.  Wenzhen was born Monday, December 25, 1961 in Shanxi, China to Yuchang Yan and Caiping Hu.

Wenzhen received Bachelors Degree from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1982 and then received her Masters Degree in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1988.  Wenzhen then moved to the United States in 1990 and received her Masters Degree in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma.  She was a mechanical engineer for GE.  Strong in her faith, Wenzhen was faithful to her Lord and enjoyed her Bible study group.  She also liked spending time with her family and friends as well as shopping.

Wenzhen is survived by: her son, John Hanqing (Denise) Chen; daughter, Hannah Xi (Kevin Huang) Chen; siblings, Yuhua Yan, Wenhua Yan, Wenying Yan-Hayter and Wenbin Yan; and many special friends including Paul and Miriam Grossi.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.  A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
